'07 Gulf Cruise to Mexico

After being snowed-in at T.F. Green Airport in Warwick, Rhode Island, we missed a connecting flight in Chicago and our limo (van) ride from Houston to Galveston.  Getting a taxi and rushing to Galveston, we  made the ship in time and set out to sea with a balcony cabin.

Costa Maya Pier
... on a very windy day. The Captain actually backed the ship into the far side of this pier as the ship rocked in the surf.

Mahahaul Beach

Notice the breaking surf.  Bridget and I hired a local, Edwuardo, to take us out the reef for snorkeling when the orgaized excursions from the ship had been cancelled for the day.

'07 Biking in Nantucket

We rode the cargo ferry with trucks bringing items to the island,
instead of the transit authority ferry for autos and pedestrians

Nantucket Harbor

Nantucket Wharf

We covered a large amoung of the Eastern half of Nantucket by bicycle.  Trails along the beach area were so sandy we had to walk our bikes part of the time.
